The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducted the Computer Based Test 1 (CBT 1) for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment from December 16 to 18, 2024.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 7,951 vacancies for various posts, including Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant.
The selection process for RRB JE 2024 includes two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2), followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates who qualify in CBT 1 will be eligible to appear for CBT 2.
The salary for the RRB JE position is as per Level 6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with an initial pay of ₹35,400, along with other allowances as admissible.
